            Quest Minister, Pastor Udo Moses

Prophet Udo Moses, the guest minister, expounded on the need for redemption, stressing that a land seeking redemption is in pursuit of its lost glory, honor, and rightful destiny. He declared prophetic blessings upon Akai Ubium and called on the people to embrace transformation.

Prayers were offered in various sessions including:

* Thanksgiving for peace and progress in Akai Ubium, Nsit Ubium, and Akwa Ibom State
* Repentance for individual and communal sins
* Prayers for development and economic growth
* Protection for the Village Head and Council
* Long life, sound health, and divine preservation for both indigenes and non-indigenes

In his welcome address, Eteidung Esema Esema II expressed deep gratitude to God for sustaining the community. He commended the organizers—AMF and AUDA—for their vision and execution of such a spiritually significant event. Reaffirming his unwavering faith in God, he declared Jehovah as the source of his life, wisdom, power, protection, and victory. He urged everyone to worship the true God, Jehovah, who never fails.

The Village Head also issued strong warnings against immoral and antisocial behaviors such as gossip, character defamation, and theft, labelling those who engage in them as agents of darkness. He emphasized that anyone caught stealing would face the full wrath of the law.

Unveiling a Vision for Civic Reception and Community Development

Eteidung Esema II further announced the upcoming Civic Reception, an initiative of the Akai Development Association, aimed at celebrating industrious sons and daughters of Akai Ubium who have distinguished themselves in both public and private sectors. The event, which will also serve as a major fundraiser, is targeted to raise ₦500,000,000 (Five Hundred Million Naira) for transformative community development projects. He called on all indigenes to support and cooperate with the soon-to-be-inaugurated planning committee once the event date is announced.

NDLEA Sensitization: A Call Against Drug Abuse
A key feature of the summit was the presence of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), led by Commander Ojukwu, who conducted a sensitization session on the dangers of drug abuse. In his address, Mr. Ojukwu warned against the use of illicit drugs including Indian hemp (Ikong Ekpo), “kulos”, “loud”, “ice”, excessive prescription drug usage, and alcohol abuse.

He outlined the devastating effects of drug abuse in society, such as:

* Increased domestic violence
* Health complications
* Loss of sexual drive
* Rising crime rates
* Mental disorders
* Academic and professional decline
* Family breakdown
* Stigmatization and social isolation

He urged residents to avoid drug abuse and report anyone involved in it to the appropriate authorities.

In response, Eteidung Esema II thanked the NDLEA and assured them of his council’s collaboration in eradicating drug abuse from Akai Ubium. He reiterated that any person caught in drug-related activities would be handed over to law enforcement for immediate prosecution.

The summit concluded on a triumphant and joyful note, leaving a spiritual imprint on the hearts of attendees and renewing a collective commitment to the moral, spiritual, and physical transformation of Akai Ubium.
